Pretty excited for this, and I hope you are too. (I just ask that you bear with me as I work through this and tweak it) Introducing: Thursday Things. I want to share with you each week, a few of my personal favorite things. So here goes:
INCOCO NAIL ART
As someone who loves a bi-weekly mani / pedis at the salon, it was hard to give up. BUT in an effort to save a little bit of money each month for an upcoming trip I have planned, I knew this should be a sacrifice I make as it's a want, not a need. Off to Walmart I went to find a neutral color polish (I'm awful at painting my own nails and was hoping practice would make me better and I could graduate to the bold reds I love).
I stumbled upon these nail wraps. For $4.97, , what did I have to lose. (they had some on clearance for $2.00, but I didn't love the designs, maybe next time I'll get lucky!) I grabbed a pack called CHILL OUT (pictured below on the right) and I'm happy to tell you - I LOVE THEM! This is my 3rd set and they hold up as promised - 14 days. The ones shown below are 5 days old.
What I most drawn to was the zero drying time, no smudges, and no streaks like regular nail polish! These are 100% real nail polish and take minutes to apply! An Incoco manicure lasts up to 14 days, and can be removed easily with nail polish remover. Each set contains 16 strips in varying sizes, which can be gently stretched to fit any nail size perfectly. Incoco offers over 200 varieties of colors and designs, as well as tips and pedicures. I'm loving all the fun designs and having fun doing my own nails for a fraction of the price of the salon. #WINNING
La Croix sparking water
This carbonated water with natural flavor is heaven for my taste buds. (Back East Polar Seltzer was my jam, but here on the West Coast, it's hard to find and when I do, it's $$$ as it's produced on the East Coast and the cost of shipping blah blah blah. Yes I still love it, but only when back East)
La Croix (pronounced La-CROY. It rhymes with ‘enjoy’)
- no artificial sweeteners, sugars or sodium is added to their waters.
- is made locally, employing people across the USA. As a domestic brand, LaCroix has a lower carbon footprint than imported sparkling counterparts.
- All flavors of LaCroix are gluten-free, vegan and Kosher! There is no meat, dairy, wheat, or nuts used in the product or production of the product. It also does not contain any genetically modified organisms (GMO) therefore LaCroix is Non-GMO.
- Makes an awesome cocktail or mocktail
My go to flavor: coconut
Last year, Carlee, a fellow running friend, hosted a ProBar giveaway on her blog and lucky me won! Woooo. Prior to trying, I went to the ProBar website to see what the company was all about and how they suggested the products be used. (These items ROCK CARLEE'S SOCKS, but I wanted to do some of my own homework as well) . The company has strong core values and their mission is to create delicious, convenient, healthy, plant-based food products. They strive to become the leading provider of REAL FOOD choices, while always maintaining their commitment to quality, sustainability and fantastic taste. SOLD! Now to taste -- I fell in love with the Base Bar and the Bolt Chews.
Non GMO, Gluten Free, and Organic -- ProBar, you are a HUGE win in my book.
I hope you enjoyed this first installment of Thursday Things! Tell me, was this a YAY or a NAY?
