Welcome to week 2 of #favoritethings. (If you missed week 1, you can read it HERE ) . Onto this weeks things I'm digging:
Over the past 6 months, I've been slowly cycling through all my skin and body care items, and getting rid of any the contain parabens and other artificial / unnatural ingredients ((HELLO - if you're so focused on EATING clean ingredients, why would you not want clean ingredients ON your body? Your skin is your biggest organ)). #TRUTHBOMB
In that process, I've tried HANDFULS of natural deordants and haven't had any luck finding one that did the job until I saw Piperwai on sharktank! So I gave it a shot -- AND I LOVE IT!
It's minty fresh, and it keeps me dry too! And there's NO aluminum! Deodorants contain aluminum and synthetic fragrances which are toxic to the body. Aluminum has been associated with a variety of health issues, including: Breast Cancer.
PLEASE pay attention to what you're allowing to soak into your pores. If you grab some PiperWai for yourself, let me know how you like it!
Hi, My name is Sarah and I'm a constant snacker. Here's one of my favorites:
- sliced hard boiled egg
I'll admit, I've never had the pleasure of watching the show. Saw this online and it made my heart swell with happiness.
"Good Morning America" co-anchor Robin Roberts is lending her voice to a character on Disney Junior’s "Doc McStuffins” for a special episode.
The award-winning animated series tells the story of 6-year-old Doc McStuffins who communicates with and heals stuffed animals and broken toys.
In a special episode premiering on National Cancer Survivors Day, a 4-year-old chemotherapy patient named Audrey confronts the issue of hair loss with her doll Hannah. Roberts, a cancer survivor, plays the voice of Audrey's mom.
(( I tried to add the video, but for some reason, having technical dificulties!)

This motivates me even MORE to share Mataya's story. Having shows/characters a child loves deal with the same thing they are going through helps them understand better and know they are not alone! I will keep sharing and forever be raising awareness.
What are some things YOU'VE been digging on lately?
